Babycare-focused quick commerce startup Peeko secures fresh capital to expand its rapid-delivery footprint across targeted markets.

Babycare-focused quick commerce startup Peeko has raised $7 Mn (approx ₹67.4 Cr) in its Series A funding round led by Chiratae Ventures to double its dark store count . 1 The newly secured capital will be deployed primarily toward scaling up the company’s operational infrastructure, expanding its geographic reach, and growing its inventory capabilities to meet surging consumer demand.

The quick commerce sector has seen a rapid acceleration in vertical specialization, prompting targeted plays in high-frequency consumer categories like infant and childcare essentials. Peeko operates a dedicated rapid-delivery model tailored specifically to parents, offering rapid fulfillment for essential baby products ranging from diapers and formula to specialized skincare and feeding accessories.

Operating within the hyper-competitive quick commerce landscape, vertical players face the challenge of unit economics and supply chain density. Peeko addresses this market gap by curating high-retention SKUs and optimizing micro-fulfillment logistics to ensure rapid turnaround times for time-pressed parents needing urgent supplies.

The fresh Series A funding will directly enable Peeko to accelerate its expansion roadmap, targeting a 100% increase in its dark store footprint.1 This network scaling aims to deepen penetration in existing urban micro-markets while establishing a presence in new metropolitan hubs.

With backing from Chiratae Ventures, Peeko is positioned to capture a larger share of the burgeoning niche quick commerce segment as investors continue to back specialized delivery models that outpace horizontal generalist platforms in customer loyalty and repeat usage.
